What OSAC Provides at Showcase:

• A professional sound system (scaled to venue) under OSAC's control.
• 30-40 minute technical rehearsal in the venue.
• Basic backline, including:
  • Guitar amplifiers
  • Bass rig
  • Drum kit
  • Keyboard
  • Tuned Grand Piano

Artists must provide any specialty technical equipment.

Important Note:

• While we strive to meet all backline requests, specific brands or models are not guaranteed.
• OSAC reserves the right to adjust volume levels to suit the venue and audience.

OSAC’s All-Inclusive Pricing Model – Read Carefully!

The OSAC Network is primarily made up of volunteer presenters in rural communities. To support their ability to book artists, preference is given to performers who offer all-inclusive pricing.

Your submitted fee should include:

• Fuel & transportation costs
• Meals
• Hotels/accommodations
• Your own sound system

This reduces financial risk for presenters and makes it easier for your tour to be booked.

OSAC Booking Fee

• OSAC charges a 5% booking fee per show.
• The maximum booking fee is $200 plus GST.

Selection Criteria

Successful OSAC Showcase applicants are selected by a jury panel based on:

• Quality of performance
• Professionalism
• Marketability & audience appeal
• Fee structure (including all-inclusive pricing)

Your application materials must:

• Accurately reflect the performance and configuration you plan to tour.
• Showcase the same number of performers as your touring lineup.
  • Example: If you showcase as a 4-piece band, you cannot tour as a 2-piece.

Touring Expectations

• Performances are 90 minutes long (with intermission).
• Shows are family-friendly but primarily designed for adult audiences.
• Most performances are scheduled in the evening.
• Be prepared to tour rural Saskatchewan during fall, winter, and spring—including challenging weather conditions!

Does Following These Guidelines Guarantee an OSAC Tour?

No. However, all-inclusive pricing is one of the most important selection factors for Arts Councils. Competitive pricing greatly increases your chances of being booked.

Submission of this form constitutes acceptance and acknowledgment of the following Terms & Conditions of applying for and accepting a juried showcase slot.

Application Requirements:

• Incomplete applications will not be considered.
• All fees are non-refundable.
• Payment must be received by midnight, May 7, 2025.
• This application does not represent a commitment by The Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils to provide a showcase.
• Application info will be shared with our members in a password protected directory if you are accepted to showcase or not. By completing this application you are agreeing to the the sharing of this information with the OSAC member presenters.

If selected to showcase:

• Successful applicants will be notified by June 30th, 2025.
• Artists must register for Showcase 2025 ($400 fee includes meals for one person & Exhibitor Exchange table).
• Showcases are 20 minutes long and must match the touring performance.
• A representative (agent/manager) must be present during all Exhibitor Exchange hours.
• Bookings secured at Showcase 2025 will be scheduled for the 2026/2027 season (Sept 15, 2026 – May 15, 2027).
• OSAC assumes no responsibility for costs associated with showcasing.

OSAC Reserves the Right To:

• Use showcasing artists' images/content for promotional purposes.
• Assign an alternate if a selected artist cancels (no substitutions allowed).
• Require pre-approval for any changes to the showcase configuration. The configuration you apply with is the configuration we expect to showcase and tour.
